My little buddy Peanit is a 13-year-old Yorkie Mix weighing in at just 6 lbs. Over the years, we've gone through quite a few harnesses, but they've always fallen short because they’re too bulky, not adjustable enough, and never really designed with her tiny frame in mind. But then, we found the Petite Step In Harness, and it's been a total game-changer! I'm always super careful about the products I choose for Peanit, especially considering her size and tendency for tracheal collapse. One of my absolute favourite things about the Petite Step In Harness is the leash connection point between her shoulder blades, which means there’s no pressure on her neck during our walks. This harness is incredibly lightweight yet still feels sturdy. Adjusting it for the perfect fit was easy, and I can even layer it over a sweater without it feeling bulky for Peanit. Plus, the bonus of the ID tag clip means Peanit no longer needs to wear both a collar and harness! For the first time, it truly feels like a harness has been tailored to the needs of toy breeds like Peanit. I couldn't be happier with this harness. It's like it was made just for her.
